CHRONICPAIN: IBS or Vaginal InfectionFrom: Susan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 8 Oct 2008 19:31:46 -0500 (CDT)
I changed my diet (added a bunch of flax/granola) over the last 2 days and started taking some chinese herbs that can be harsh on the stomach. I've noticed pelvic pain this morning with diarreah/soft stools, foul smelling going to the bathroom all day on and off after I eat, along with having gas pain. I have been diagnosied with IBS but not had a bout at this level for years. My question is I'm having pelvic pain right over the pelvic bone. I have no vaginal symptoms that are present. Could I still have a bacterial infection and only have the IBS like symptoms present? Or can IBS mimic pelvic pain from all the strain on the muscles today?
