Performing a hysterectomy for Endometriosis, often results in Endo being left behind. You need to find an expert laparoscopist to evaluate your pelvis and determine if you have Endo remaining. If yes then it must be removed. There are intermediate steps that can be taken, such as a two or three month trial of Lupron. If Endo is causing your problem then your symptoms should abate. Consult the Endometriosis Association or The American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists for an expert in your area.
