Tina W This could be the end of your period. It is good that you are being observant .As a health care provider, who is also overweight, sometimes that is part of the reason people do not get an exam.We get tired of the FAT SPEECH.By this I mean you are there for another reason and the provider wants to discuss your weight and not the reason you are there.Health care providers have a responsibility to dicuss our weight. It needs to be done in a gentle caring way. Maybe ,you could do a mental health phone consult and get some medication for anziety before your appointment. You can also call 1-800 64 PANIC -the support line from home.It is always better to get checked on your terms when there is not an emergency. Also maybe changing your tampon brand could help.I hope you get an exam on your terms .JoAnn NP
