If the Endometriosis was not excised completely and totally, it could be
Endo again. Further, adhesions can form again.
Definitely follow up with your MD. The tech does not have the authority
or the training for that matter to fully interpret the ultrasound
results. This is what the radiologist is trained to do. While the tech
may do Ultrasounds all of the time, she is still not trained to read
them as the Radiologist is. The tech may be correct, but that is not
the point.
Do a search on the Internet for the Endometriosis Research Center. They
are in Florida. They also have a forum you can join to talk about
anything Endo. Actually, here is their web address:
http://www.endocenter.org. You will be able to find a link to their
forums on their website. You can also have materials sent to you at no
charge. While some of the Endo Associations, etc. charge for
materials, the ERC is completely free. The women who run the ERC are
also awesome.
