Hi Everyone, I received this Essence Magazine email. Is anyone interested in being interviewed for the following uterine fibroid procedures in a Essence article? Hope Waltman, Fibroid Forum Moderator Dear Ms. Waltman: I'm a journalist who's working on a uterine fibroid story for Essence magazine, a national publication that focuses on issues important to women of color. I understand that you are the moderator of a fibroid forum. Do you know any African-American women who'd be willing to share their experiences for this article? I'd like to interview real people who've experienced fibroids and used one of these three options to treat them: * mr-guided ultrasound * laparoscopic myomectomy * wait and see with lifestyle changes (As an FYI, I've already interviewed someone who had a successful uterine artery embolization). If you know anyone who'd like to be interviewed by phone, please call me. My deadline isn't until next week, but I'd like to wrap up all interviews this week if possible.
