I would check with the gyn oncologist but in general with a normal
culposcopy you would only be required to have a PAP every 6 months.
The cyto brush will pick up anything in the canal and you can treat
as necessary then. Removal of the cervix still leaves you at risk as
the vaginal vault is also susceptible to the same viral influences.
Don't freak out. As long as you follow up you will not have to worry
about anything threatening your life. Follow up is most important.
