My first ultrasound was regular external scan that indicated a 8.4cm x 5.8cm x 6.6 cm cyst on left ovary. My second scan was about two weeks later and was an internal transvaginal scan that indicated the cyst was 6cm. Why was there only one number for the second scan, and do these numbers indicate that the cyst has shrunk?
