In the hospital I developed a slight cough, but nothing too serious. I came home 3 days post-op and my bleeding had reduced to only a small amount of pinkish discharge until a couple of days ago. I started having some slight dark red (not brown as with old blood) bleeding. This has increased over the past couple of days, (this is day 3) to where it is real bleeding now, like a period almost. I went to my gynecologist yesterday to have my abdominal staples out and she said she couldn't tell where the bleeding was coming from, my "cuff" is very high, but she didn't want to force the speculum into my vagina and disturb the work the urologist had done.
