CHRONICPAIN: Pelvic pain, hot flashes, night sweats, - could this be an ovarian cyst and would it grow that quickly?

I've been having hot flashes and night sweats for a couple of weeks now. These just came on suddenly. I've always been the one who was cold at all times and now suddenly everyone else is cold and I feel like I'm radiating heat from within. I wake up just about every night just drenched and I know its not from summer heat (it's very cool at night), too many covers, or too heavy pajamas. I had a hysterectomy 9 months ago but still have both ovaries. I recently turned 43, so I suppose it could be the start of menopause, but does it just come on so suddenly? I'm also wondering about ovarian cysts because of the pelvic pain on both sides, the bouts of nausea and poor appetite, weight loss, pain in my side, hips, back, and below the ribs. I have had problems with cysts before, especially in the last year. I know there were no cysts when I had a laparoscopy in early June for another problem and there were no cysts when I had a CT scan done in early July for yet another problem. Can you just suddenly develop a cyst within 6 weeks and have it be symptomatic and painful? Could you develop a large cyst within that amount of time? How much can a cyst grow in a month?
