Your doctor should have coverage, someone to talk to in an emergency.
Call again and tell the answering service it is an emergency, or call
the emergency room and see if they can contact your doctor. Yes, you
must tell those caring for you about the symptoms, you might have an
infection or a serious kidney problem. Best of luck with this.
