I have always had irregular periods and have had spotting before periods for some years. Sometimes I get spotting for as much as 6 days before and sometimes have spotting for a few days after too. Have just had some mid-cycle spotting - on day 12 and day 15. Day 12 was after exercise and day 15 was 12 hours after intercourse and just after exercise. When should I be concerned about spotting that is out of the ordinary?
