BREASTHEALTH: nipple pain with breastfeedingFrom: Lainey (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 9 Aug 2008 14:06:33 -0500 (CDT)
My nipple on one breast started hurting yesterday after my 10 month old slept through the night for the first time in weeks, and then didn't want to eat all that well in the morning. I pumped later, but it still is sore when he eats and is tender in between feedings. Especially when it's getting close to feeding time. I don't see any white spots in his mouth, and there aren't any cracks or redness to my breast nor do I feel any particularly hard places in my breast. What might this be? clogged duct? Thrush? Please help. Thanks
