About 3 months ago, I had a supracercial hyst, still have ovaries. During my hospital stay I started having bladder spasms. I assume my ob/gyn thought this could be from the cathetor and gave me some detrol LA. After d/c I felt worse, went to my PCP, he gave me some macrobid, when the C & S came back changed it to Cipro for 10 days. Went back for another UA and still had some inflammation so I was rx for another 7 days of macrobid. Went for my 6 week check up, the UA was clear. A few weeks later I started having some bladder spasms again. I just went back to my PCP and he suggested a urologist and gave me some bacterim. I did a AZO test strip a blotch in the center turns purple but not the whole square. My PCP suggested a urologist and stated that usually if the reason for the inflammatin can't be found they dx as IC. I have some pelvic pain similar to mild menstrual cramps, and sharp pain that doesnt last line, and a bladder that won't fully empty, no burning ect. I actaully never had any burning ect. Could the psedomonas still be present even though a dr's UA shows nothing? What do I do next? I have googled ect. I am a new RN is there anyother sites that I might access?

thanks freckles, RN :)
