Re: CHRONICPAIN: Neurontin VS Lyrica--Primary VS Gyn?

My advice would be to try the Neurontin. I am not a doctor (well not a medical one anyway!) ... however I have spent half my life in chronic pain. Personally Neurontin was life changing (in a good way) for a non-gynecological neuro problem. I now have endometriosis + adenomyosis. I've just started on Neurontin again for that. It does tend to make people a bit dizzy but for most people I believe that is manageable. You should know within a couple of weeks whether it will help (best to ramp up the dose slowly to manage side effects). I should mention though that I have never taken Lyrica personally - but it is meant to be "chemically similar" to Neurontin.
