I had been shaving down there everyday lately to keep it smooth which was way more often then usual. I thought I cut myself in the shower, I had before... but then it wasnt feeling any better so i had this small cut then i started developing these small red spots and about three raised red spots that had a clearish looking spot in the middle... the Pain got worse and I went to the ER.. and she said it looks like herpes, but it doesnt look like classic herpes.. and she did a culture and bloodwork.. It's been two weeks and I still havent got the results back Im going to call again tomorrow. I've been with my boyfriend for three years and have been entirely faithful and so has he (no doubts).. So Does anyone think this could possible be a severe case of folliculitis... Is it possible for herpes to lay doormant for longer than two weeks before your first break out? also the spots never crusted or scabbed.. and picutures ive seen didnt look like what i had. She said she wasnt 100% sure like i said but she said she was gonna treat me for herpes and i took acyclovir i think thats how u spell it and the spots disappeared in about a week maybe a little less. Any input would be great thanks
