Dr.Futterweit: 1) Confirm or have an endocrinologist evaluate you and tell you whether you have PCOS. 2) If PCOS is present, pelvic and lower abdominal pains suggest possible PCOS. An ultrasound in the second half of cycle will determine the extent or absence of a corpus luteum cyst or other cysts. Small follicle ruptures may occur in this syndrome and cause pains. The work up by a seasoned nedocrinologist and expert gyno would be helpful. Do this at your earliest opportunity. Best wishes Dr.Futterweit
