EMOTIONAL: I felt great after giving birth..how do I get that back!

This maybe the oddest question in the world. However, after giving birth to my daughter. I felt absolutely fantastic. Everything was in sync my head was clear, I was active, I wanted things done, I was always on the move, I couldn't sit still and felt great. I had so much energy that waking up in the middle of the night didn't bother me etc. (I know most people are completly the opposite).

After a fairly struggling birth process. I started labor at 10pm in the evening was the hospital at 4:30 am at 8cm dialted. However, things stalled soon after that and I didn't end up delivering until 6:30pm that evening. After pushing for 6 hours. I had only a two hour nap after getting an epidural at like 10 am.

IN ANY SENSE...The day after I gave birth I was ready to go home I felt great! I woke up at 5 am to a snoring husband in my hospital room and a baby that I had given birth to sound asleep. I showered myself and cleaned the entire room. I got scolded by my doctor who told me I was going to be one of those woman. they wouldn't discharge me because I was on meds to prevent hemoraging. I have fibroids and they got HUGE during pregnancy.

When I got home those feelings stayed with me for WEEKS. I wanted to exericise immediatly. My house was spotless. I couldn't sit still and I just felt great.

Now a few months later (when no idea) I was back to my old lazy self again. I am not entirely completly lazy, but I am a procasinator, and sloppy. Something I wasn't after delivering and for a few months after that!!! I want that old feeling back....

I have a feeling it was hormones or something in my blood chemistry. What can this be and how do I approach my doctors without sounding completly off my walker...

Still have firboids and PCOs....started new BC called yaz two weeks ago...
