I agree with your GYN. With no other abnormalities, I too would suggest perimenopause...and 36 isn't too soon to start experiencing these kinds of things. Shortening cycles is one of the factor. Just for fun keep track of when you ovulate. Some women ovulate every time, and it seems like you just finish one cycle when whoops here comes another one. I would also recommend the book Before the Change by Ann Louise Gettleman. It has lots of great tips and recommendations. Also, continue to get your regular exercise and eat a healthy diet. What else would you think it might be ? I know, it seems perimenopause is too soon, but certainly within the range of possible...
