GYNECOLOGIC: Diflucan Question

I have had recurrent BV for years. My dr. just prescribed Flagyl 500mg 2X/day for 7 days, and Diflucan 200mg once every 3rd day (she prescribed 10 pills). Is this too much Diflucan to prevent a yeast infection from occurring? My goal is to create a balance. Following the Flagyl, I will be taking Candaclear. My concern is whether this is overshooting the Diflucan. Can anyone offer some advise?
