HYSTERECTOMY: Cryo Ablation and Polyp removalFrom: Hazel1613 (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 26 Jun 2008 14:51:06 -0500 (CDT)
On June 16, 2008 I had a polyp removed and cyroablation in the Dr. office. I was given painkillers and a shot at the office and at home I had to take 3 pills to dialate my uterus. I have to say even though I had pain meds. When he removed the polyp it was quite painful. It felt like a scraping against the uterus then a suction to pull it out. The cryoablation was painless at the time. When I came home I was in severe pain. I believe it was coming from the dialation pills because I felt like I was having contractions. I also was bleeding and had to change my pad 3 times. The next day it stopped and turned into the pinkish watery discharge. I'm a little concerned right now because I have been bleeding every time I urinate. The watery pinkish discharge stopped after about 3 days. I'm not bleeding enought to wear a pad, it doesn't look like pinkish discharge it looks like blood that turns brown as if it wants to stop then it turns back into blood. Is this normal? It just seems like I still have my polyp because that's exactly what I was going through before the procedure. What are the symptoms when you remove a polyp? and what are the symtoms of uterine perferation. Thank you for any help.
