CHRONICPAIN: pain 4 years after puerperal sepsisFrom: nicy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 24 Jun 2008 04:22:20 -0500 (CDT)
I had a c/s in '99 and again in '04. 3,5 weeks after the 2nd I was admitted for 6 weeks with a sepsis. my left ovary and tube were removed. 4 years later I am still being confronted with the complications. my cycle is back, I do pilates twice/week and am slowly regaining movement in the lower abs, although feeling remains zero. after a year of 'visceral manipulation' done by a specialised osteopath, i can say the pain in my abdomen has decreased by 90% but: having an orgasm is not pleasant. even getting seriously aroused can cause pain. i often still have a brownish, jelly like discharge. riding my bicycle is still horrible. how long can this carry on? will I ever get to the point that I can say "it's over"?
