UROGYNECOLOGY: Do urogynecologists deal with kidney stones?

I went to the ER this morning and was found to have a 5-mm kidney stone. I was given pain meds to take at home and on the discharge instructions it said to follow up with the doctor who did my laparoscopy last week. He is an OB/GYN but also specializes in Urogynecology. I don't see why they would want me to follow up with him other than the fact that he did the laparoscopy, and I'm not sure that kidney stones even fall under urogynecology. Do they? Should I just skip over the follow up with him and try to schedule a followup with a urologist (I don't currently have one). Thanks.
