Re: PMDD: I think I have PMDD. How do I combat this other than with birth control? From: Dr. Herbert A. Goldfarb (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 13 Jun 2008 05:37:47 -0500 (CDT)
Message posted on Dr. Herbert A. Goldfarb behalf by: Hope Waltman, Fibroid and Women’s Health Forum Moderator In all likelihood you have adenomyosis. An MRI of the pelvis should be done. If the adenomyosis is superficial the Hysteroscopic Endometrial resection may help. Otherwise you might try the Mirena IUD which may reduce your bleeding. Dr. Herbert A.
