CHRONICPAIN: ilioinguinal nerve entrapmentFrom: D (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 12 Jun 2008 20:14:17 -0500 (CDT)
My pelvic pain is believed to be from ilioinguinal nerve entrapment. So I get weekly nerve block shots & therapy. This past week the pain was much worse. I've had novasure done & don't get a period but when I look at the calander, this increase in pain would have been about the time of a period. I was told a next step could possibly be another type of shot that would stop my cycle (put me in menopause) (I'm 40). (I forget the medicine name) Would birth control pills do a similar thing? Any thoughts? Thanks D
