PREGNANCY: Re

Two years ago I had a forceps delivery with an episiotomy and 4th degree tearing, resulting in a rectovaginal fistula. It was small and only let gas pass. A year later I had an episioproctotomy and sphincterplasty done to repair the fistula and damage. Basically the doctor performed another episiotomy, cut out the fistulous tract, repaired some damage to the sphincter, and did the layer closure. About three days later I had a recurrence, except this time the fistula was made worse allowing more than just the gas. I was referred to another OB/GYN doctor who has a 100% success rate in cases like mine. He performed a sphincterplasty and layer closure of the fistula 8 weeks later. I am now almost 8 months post surgery and there is no sign of recurrence. However, about a month after my surgery I was using the bathroom and could actually feel the stools in the rectum pass over the site where the fistula was repaired, feeling pressure in the vagina. Internally it felt like the fistula may have recurred, but thankfully nothing came out of the vagina. These sensations lasted about a week (near the time of my period). I did not feel this again until the next month around the same time, and this has continued every month since. It happens at other times too, but it's most noticeable when it happens at that time of the month. I explained it to my doctor and he had never heard of this and had no explanation. A full vaginal and rectal exam was done 3 months after my surgery and nothing was found. Can anyone explain this? I would appreciate any help! Thank you!
