CONTRACEPTION: 11 Days Late, On Mircette, Negative HPT and Blood Tests..From: tara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 10 Jun 2008 08:47:03 -0500 (CDT)
I have been on Mircette for 3 months. You take 21 days of active 2 days of inactive and 5 days of low dose. The first month I got it on the last day before the next pack and the month after I did the same. This cycle I cramped the last week but never received anything. The last time my BF and I had sex was almost 3 weeks ago, so I was assuming that if I was pregnant, it would have showed up by now, but I took HPT at 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and 9 days late and a blood test at 3 days late (<2) and all were negative. On friday (7 days late)I had cramping on my left side and I’m scared it could be implantation pain..but after this long?? I took my pill every evening and didn't miss any. My OB/GYN thinks I'm overreacting and thinks is it's all because of the pill. I've been on oral contraceptives for 12 years and NEVER had this happen to me. I am so scared b/c I don't want anymore children. I had another doctor’s appt yesterday and went for more blood work today. He did an internal exam and said he dosen't think I'm pregnant, but he's still sending me for more blood work to "ease my fear", but I'm peeing every 5-6 hours or so I'm getting scared. After this long, shouldn't something have shown up by now??? I am terrified. Thanks for your time. I know you read though a lot of messages daily.
