BREASTHEALTH: underarm lump

I have had a lump in my armpit as long as I can remember really. I am 29, and I remember showing it to my pediatrician as a child. He actually couldn't feel it, and said it must be a cyst. Since then I haven't showed it to a doctor at all. I now have two kids and am breastfeeding my 8 month old. The lump seems to have gotten a bit bigger. It's about the size of an egg or a bit larger. Should I be taking a trip back to the doctor, and if so which one? My general practioner or the OBGYN?
