My goodness! Where was HE from? He clearly hasn't read any of the research (including AHRQ's excellent review) roundly condemning the practice. Good for you Dr. Hill for practicing evidence-based medicine, even in the face of a scissor-wielding nut. Now, if you could get ALL your colleagues to join you!
