PREGNANCY: Missed Pills - Possible Pregnancy???From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 8 Jun 2008 15:57:50 -0500 (CDT)
Ok I am 39 and know better than to miss BC pills. However, I did. I missed the last 2 days from the last week of the pack (YAZ)but still had a normal period. I was also prescribed minocycline (an antibiotic) There was no uprotected sex as my hubby was out of town. My hubby came back and we were on the go and having fun ;) (yes unprotected sex!! stupid I know) I was off of them all but 2 days of the first week and then just stopped taking them since I figured I would have the withdrawal bleeding and be able to start a new pack and be on schedule again. However the withdrawal bleeding never came. What did come was sore (VERY SORE) breasts, fatigue, heartburn and lot's of trips to the bathroom. I feel pregnant, just like I did with my other 2. However I am getting negative pregnancy tests. My last period was May 14th and the conception would have occurred the days of May 23-26 (since Hubby left town again). Is it too early for a HPT??? Could that be why I am getting negatives? Or could my symptoms just be from being off the pill??? Any help is appreciated. Amy
