Gah! Adenomyosis! That's not what I wanted to hear!! :) Just curious as to why it could be adenomyosis if it is my ovaries that are the area where the discomfort is? Also curious why it is the most uncomfortable in the week or so prior to ovulation and my period is really not painful? Is it the hormones that cause the follicles to mature that irritate the endo/adeno? The surgical note from my last c-section in 3/06 said that the "uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries were all normal" Thank you very much for your replies and the information! Amy
