In 2004 I became pregnant with the help of my Fertility OB/GYN in Berkeley, CA, using Femara and Actos. I have PCOS w/ IR. I now have a beautiful 4 year old son, perfectly healthy. Fast-forward to now, I now live in Sacramento, CA and cannot find ONE OB/GYN or RE that will prescribe Femara, citing that Novartis asked to not use if for infertility, and some bogus studies that have since been proven to be unfounded. This despite the fact that, I have friends who have PCOS all over the country who have no problem getting Femara prescribed to them. IT WORKS. Clomid never worked, injections never worked.
