I have von wellebrends disease. I have no problems with my periods because of it. I have very irregular periods do to PCOS; however, I can always tell when my period is going to start because I experience what I call breaking out in bruises. I always break out in lots of burises on my arms, legs and stomach within 48 to 24 hours before I start a period. These are painless bruises but big. Am I correct in thinking this is the result of some sort of drop in my clotting factors in preperation for my period?
