Ashley Hill, M.D.: "Re: VAGINITIS: 3 year long vaginitis" I currently have had bacteria vaginitis and have had it for about 3 years off and on (mainly on) and can't handle it anymore. I have been to 3 different doctors and they all give me medicine and say it should go away. I have also been testing for all STD's since they often cause the infection. I know all the necessary preventions and it still reoccurs almost monthly. I cry everyday because it's no fun between trying new doctors and seeing if my new treatment will finally work.
