Hello,

I have been trying a few birth control pills over the past year, and I have found certain difficulties with each one. I am trying my best to find my "dream pill" for me, one with either none of my most hated side effects, or very moderate side effects. Here is a little history of each one I've tried already:

First, Ortho-Novum 7/7/7-- Started about half a year ago. Started taking it, had bad vomiting and nausea, but nonetheless was my first time with birth controll pills. Over time, my sex drive/libido was totally diminished, and I was developing minor crabbiness.

Second-- Yaz. Started taking it right after ortho-novum, worked great for first few months. Everything felt fine, until I began developing daily headaches and later had such depressing mood swings, I didn't know who I was. I was described as "a new person." Made things I love in life very miserable, and stopped taking it altogether at the end of March. I was so upset over what it did to me, that I waited a month to cleanse my system out of extra hormones before starting a new pill.

Next, and the most recently, I was researching a pill without overly terrible mood issues or libido loss. I went to the clinic to have an appointment for:

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo -- got the pill, my clinician approved that this one would help me the most over my past experiences, and I brought it home. Didn't dare start taking it, instead researched reviews of it, and found that people were both suicidal/pregnant while on the pill.

At this point, I just want some kind of birth control pill, nothing else, that can satisfy my needs.
