BREASTHEALTH: Chest Wall or breast mass

I went for my first Mammogram recently. I am 41 years old. I was called back several times for ultra sounds. I have been informed I have a solid mass very deep (about 11 cm deep) in the breast. I am now being sent for an MRI. I have been told it is believed to be benign. The information I have recieved is that they are unsure if this is actually on the chest wall or in the breast. The actually mass is sizable I am told and could be a fibroadanoma. Do these occur on the chest wall? Is an MRI a good tool for evaluating this?

Thanks you mjak
