Lisa -

I would take a pregnancy test to rule out the obvious. Pregnancy can and does happen following a tubal ligation.

BTW - adenomyosis can NOT be diagnosed by feeling your uterus nor can it be diagnosed via ultrasound. In most cases it is not able to be diagnosed until the pathology report following a hysterectomy. Sometimes an MRI is done if adenomyosis is suspected.
