Thanks so much for the response. I called the office this morning to clarify some information. According to them, the placenta appears "thickened anteriorally" and with the fact that my niece has Beckwith-wiedeman syndrome they recommended a level 2. Does anyone know what causes a "thickened" placenta and if there are repercussions? >At Tue, 13 May 2008, anonymous wrote:
