Thanks for your comments. I did not say all. I said MANY. I suppose you could call it a broad generalization. My experience with other NPs, both professionally and through training provided me with this observation. Of course there are practitioners at all levels that do not honor the clients comfort, and that would include NPs. The key, as you have stated, is to find someone who honors your comfort. No debate about that. It can be a perfectly comfortable exam, which is what I was stating.
