GYNECOLOGIC: Not a yeast infection...why so itchy? Allergic to TP????/

I have had a chronic problem with vulvar/anal itching over the past few years. It doesn't seem to be linked to my menstrual cycle, there is no odor/discharge associated with it. Because it's less near my vagina and more toward my labia and urethra, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my toilet paper. It seems worse at night, when I come home and use Cottonelle or Charmin. I don't seem to have this problem at work where they use the cheap, rough stuff. I only wear cotton briefs, and do not douche. I have only had one sexual partner (my husband) and he also has only had one partner (me), so I think it's very unlikely that it's an STD. I do have annual paps, and nothing abnormal has ever been found. What is this and how do I resolve it???
