I was pregnant earlier this year and lost the baby at 13 weeks 3 days on 2/21. Had a D&C on 2/22. 1st period was 3/24. We started trying after the first period. At 11 dpo (4/18), I thought my period started early. However, when I wiped there was a hard piece of something that looked like sand. Had light, then heavy bleeding, then medium, then light to spotting over 7days. REALLY thought it was my period and thought I was out. Had continuing right flank, lower back, and lower abdominal pain over the next week. On wednesday 16 dpo, took a pregnancy test in the afternoon. Negative. However, I thought I had a kidney infection and had been drinking a lot of H2O to flush it out. Saw my pcp on Friday. She suspected a kidney infection. +3 blood in urine, trace leukocytes. Started me on Macrodantin because that was what got rid of it before. I have never had kidney stones. All this time took motrin. I also have endo and thought that was contrubuting to pain. The period was wierd for me, but I thought it was post miscarriage (even though the first one was right back to normal). She asked any chance I could be pregnant and I told her no. I had a period last weekend. Next morning I decided to take an opk on what would have been CD9. Glaring positive. Confused. Took a pregnancy test. POSITIVE. Took 3 more tests. All different brands. All faint positives. Then took a clearblue easy digital and it was positive. Called my pcp in a panic. Was worried about all the stuff I had taken during the week thinking I was not pregnant. Brought the tests with me and she said yep, you are pregnant. She took a blood test & said she will call me this afternoon with the results from home. No call yet. She has emr and can check. She sent me for an emergency US to rule out a tubal because of side and back pain. No evidence of tubal. Corpus Luteum present. Tech said based on LMP, I was 4 weeks 3 days to 4 weeks 5 days. Lining looked great. Cervix closed. Could not find source of bleeding from earlier. Suspected it was the stone. Also did a renal scan, and I indeed had stones. These are excruciating. So far she has told me to continue lots of water, rest, and tylenol. Can anything else be done?? How long does it take to go away. I think there were about 4 stones she was measuring. Is this from a raging kidney infection I had in February.
