YOUNGWOMEN: im 18 years old. and ive had a few weird symptoms please help...From: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 25 Apr 2008 15:14:15 -0500 (CDT)
ok so where to start... i dont know whether this is all related but i had a few random things occur to me in the past two years.. 1- about two years ago i started having random bruises just by touching me...also i feel very weak and dizy at times i went to the doctor and had a hemoglobin test...the test came withing its scale kinda low but within the scale. He just told me tht since IT WAS KINDA LOW to watch my diet....he told me about grape juice ect... (I tried donating blood once but they didnt allow me because my hemoglobin was way too low.) I kinda just ignored tht after and just moved on. 2- I became sexually active about a year ago (moved in with my partner) and began taking contraseptive, ortho-cycle to be exact and this time the bruises came back...i was feeling just bad overall...i was weak , the bruises was spotting for the whole time i was on them, the dizziness , got just very sick with them so i just stopped taking them. After the pills my period just got all messed up.... it was just crazy... but i thought it was normal because i had just ended with those pills. Besides then i have a pretty normal period sooo recently about a few months ago my period went crazy again...i finished my period and in two weeks i was bleeding again.. bleeding sooo much to the point i went to the ER because i felt weak. they did a pregnancy test and it was neg so they sent me home.Told me to follow up w my Gyn. (by this time i had a new Gyn. which my insurance had changed and i have never gotten a hold of her to make an appt. [I know i need to change her but to do tht i have to go the the MCS office which since i have a new job i havent but anyways thts another story]) After that the next two periods have been with a LOT of blood...too much i think... This last period was less blood and i usually go for at least 5 days...and it was only 3 1/2 also ive been feeling bad....weak....dizziness..strong headaches [when dizzy]....nausea... the dizziness is the most w the weakness...and sometimes i eat and the food just makes me sick. could this all be related..my boyfriend thinks it could be...i know i have to go to my doctor but i started a new job and its really hard for me untill i do the 3 months of evaluation. so i hope you guys could help me.. Im sorry if its too long.
