Re: CHRONICPAIN: ovulation pain

Every month, at around the time where I would be ovulating if not on the pill, I get this pain, localized to one side or the other. It tends to be worse on my left side. I have been experiencing this since I was around 15- 16 or so. (I am 22 now) My mom always said it was normal, so I never really thought anything of it, just took some ibuprofen and waited it out. Sometimes it's just an hour or a few hours, sometimes it lasts nearly a week and ends in an episode of extreme pain, to the point that I cannot stand up, and feel like I need to vomit. Those usually last only about an hour or so, thankfully. The pills really don't seem to have affected it. And yes, I am taking them properly. I've been on them about a year now. Tricyclen lo. Any ideas of what it could be?
