It does appear you are set for this surgery. I beg you to get another opinion from someone outside of your current practice.

Endometriosis by itself can cause pain with intercourse.

I really do not think you are hearing everyone when they are urging you to get another opinion....something just isn't sitting right here.

If your MD is wanting to do procedures, he needs to be explaining them to you in detail. You should not have to come to the internet to get as much clarification as you are getting here.

I am concerned for you....
