One of the more reliable sources is the CDC: http://www.cdc.gov/std/hpv/ http://www.ashastd.org/learn/learn_hpv_warts.cfm I don't think we can determine exactly when the virus might have been transmitted, as it is an invisible virus. In any event, you need to get this growth examined as it might be something else.
