CHRONICPAIN: CystoceleFrom: Liv (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 24 Mar 2008 21:59:48 -0500 (CDT)
I have not been to my gynecologist to confirm this, but I have done a lot of research and am pretty sure I have a Cystocele. I have tried to do kegel exercises to help but it is not getting any better. I have put on a little weight after having my first child and thought it could just be a result of that, but after doing more research I am pretty sure it's not. I had one child nearly a year ago and am wanting to have another one within a year or two. My question is, if I do have a cystocele, is it necessary to have it fixed before I have another child, or is there is a chance of it happening again if it is fixed? Sex is painful sometimes, but it's not so overwhelming that I am rushing to get it fixed in a hurry. Any advice on what to do or what else it could be? I know I need to go to the Gyn but I am a SAHM with an 11 month old and it's just a little difficult dragging her to appointments.
