Re: PREGNANCY: PIH, IUGR & Steroids

Today my OB wanted me to start steroids to help my baby's lungs develop
(I'm @ 31.5 wks). I agreed without doing any research (figured the docs
know much better than I do). Does anyone have any information on the
steroids or know of websites with reliable information on them? I assume
that she would not have suggested it if the benefits didn't outweigh the
risks but I'd just like to be informed. The steroid is
betametha-something.
