This abnormality is caused by a virus (HPV specifically). You must
have been unlucky enough to have happened upon one of the bad acting
varieties of this virus and it can progress. You need to get in and
have the culposcopy done now. Period doesn't effect the culposcopy so
go and get it done. Also if you can't get to your gyn to talk find
one you can talk to. The most important part of this is to continue
follow-up - PAP smears, treatment, etc. If you do this you shouldn't
have to worry about this being any kind of real problem for you. This
should not effect your future fertility or any thing of the kind. Get
cupol then follow-up!
