ADHESIONS: Do adhesions grow back in the same place?From: Cappy81 (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 29 Feb 2008 21:01:14 -0600 (CST)
Hi, After a miscarriage and d&c 7 yrs ago I developed adhesions in the lower 2/3 of my uterus, covering my cervix. I then had surgery to remove the adhesions and also remove endometriosis. I then went on the pill continously to supress the endo. At the time of the adhesions my tubes were clear. I went off of the pill as i want to try to concieve. I went to an RE and he did a hystersonogram (said it would show more than the hsg), and he said that my uterus had no scar tissue, the walls were as smooth as silk and given the fact that I have been on the pill for so long that my endo was probably gone also. He wanted to do an hsg next cycle to see my tubes, but I found out that my ins. will not cover anything thats related to fertility so I cannot get the hsg covered. I was wondering if I should be concerned as my tubes were always clear, but could the scar tissue have grown in the tubes over the past 7 years even if I never had any scar tissue there before. I will pay out of pocket for this test but only if I have to. Also my uterine lining is only a 5.8 during leutal phase...is this bad?
