Susan, most likely there is no major problem. Neither endometriosis nor ovarian cancer tend to present with the ultrasound findings you describe. Also, being pregnant tends to make any existing endometriosis better, not worse. Most importantly is your IVF. In that process you had a needle aspiration of your ovarian follicles. That will sometimes leave behind changes which can be confusing to the radiologist doing the ultrasound. Soon after an IVF procedure, one of my patients was even thought (incorrectly) to have a common benign tumour called a Dermoid.

The key to answering your question is follow up. Your OB/GYN should be more than capable of guiding you through this.
