Hi all, I have been on Ortho Tri Cyclen LO for about 18 months now. 2 months ago in December, I got my period 2 weeks early, while on the 2nd week of active pills. I was going through extreme personal stress at that point (the worst in my life) and figured it was from that, so I wasn't overly concerned. After the December incident I had 2 periods that were perfectly on schedule, no problems. However, the early period has happened again this cycle. I am supposed to get my period next Wednesday, but it came Monday...9 days early. (1 day into week 3 of the active pills). I am rather perplexed by this. I am experiencing no stress/diet/lifestlye changes right now, so I am slightly worried. Is this common with low-dose pills like OTC LO? Prior to this I was on Ortho Evra for 3 years, and regular OTC for 5 years, all with absolutely no problems. I am having no gyn issues otherwise. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
